School Council News!
Our School Council children would like to thank families, teachers and children for their patience with the works which have been taking place on the playground this week. They have some news to share! As part of their role on School Council, they take feedback from their class on different aspects of school life. One suggestion, which they put to Mr Corbett and Miss Ashraf at their School Council Meeting, was to make some improvements to the school playground. This was accepted! Some of our School Council met with Uniplay and discussed new markings for our playground. The designs have now been finalised and will be put onto the playground next week! We are all very excited to see what they look like! Pupil Voice at its best!

Children's Mental Health Week
To celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week, our Year 6 leaders read to our reception children this afternoon. They read some fantastic books, such as Room on the Broom, Giraffe’s Can’t Dance, Worrysaurus and Ruby’s Worry. These books focus on important themes, such as managing feelings, friendships and kindness. We were really proud of our reception children for listening so well and our year 6 leaders for being so engaging with the younger children. Well done everyone!
The theme of Children’s Mental Health Week is ‘Let’s Connect’ so it was great to our reception and year 6 children connecting so well.

Safer Internet Day
We had celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.
